I was wondering what brand media Player can my
family use to see on their PC, movies I will send to
them ?? I assume they will use a DVD player for
the TV.

I am using Windows Movie Maker to collect the clips
then using Nero to convert to DVD keeping the .avi format.

I am unable to view my own DVD on Windows Movie Maker.
To view them I can only use Nero or ATI file Player, the latter
with grinding gear background noises. Is this how it is??

Thank you.

Your recipients should be able to view your
Movie Maker .wmv or .avi files on their computer
using Windows Media Player.

If you create a DVD and if your recipients
have a DVD drive in their computers and
if they are able to watch commercial DVDs...
they should be able to view yours.

Are you using NeroVision Express? It is
my understanding that it can create a DVD
from .wmv or .avi files that will play in most
DVD players.

Here's a link to a tutorial:
