Does this software actually find anything ?

Howdy

I have been using this beta spyware for a week or so, And
have yet to detect anything even with most current
updates. I run a 2nd scan with adware or spybot and find
multiple entries. Why would I even consider using a
application that doesn't even locate tracking cookies and
the like ?

Microsoft Antispyware doesn't scan for cookies. Later builds may well have
this feature, but the ones distributed thus far don't.

And try and do some full system scans in safe mode.

Never really had any problems from cookies, so it is not a big deal if it
finds cookies. When a program finds cookies it scares people more then it
does to help.

Yeah, viruses, trojans and spyware have other ways of entering your PC too.
