Windows XP - Where do you want to go today?
Windows Vista - Where will we let you go today?

Comments people?

That's why I asked for comments, hearing stories of restricted video and
audio
utilization and wonder if anyone has having these issues.

I use XP to DJ with and want to know if I will have the same abilities in
Vista

I've actually followed the links from some of the doomsayer postings. If
you have properly licensed content, it plays it fine. If you don't have the
full DRM keys, it plays it at "VHS" quality. Most of this stuff is just
anti-MS demagogues seeking attention.

It's so he can benefit at the expense of you!

Priceless quotes in m.p.w.vista.general group:

Most recent idiotic quote added to KICK (Klassic Idiotic Caption Kooks):
"Nope. Just CLUELESS CUNTS LIKE YOU too stupid to work it out. Thank
the bittorent brigade."

"Good poets borrow; great poets steal."
- T. S. Eliot

In reference to what?

Everything. Chock full of DRM, can't edit file types anymore, can't write to
most system folders, lost any possibility to customize the Windows Explorer
toolbar, even self-registering a dl fails.

I rip videos from DVD's I buy to DJ with and wondered about
restrictions. I only do private parties no public exibitions here ;-)
