Does MS Antispyware work with XP x64?

By memory, the answer is yes. There was a post about an error in the update
between the two versions on an x64 machine. We were able to a) find that
the error didn't happen on another x64 machine, and b) find that the same
error DID happen on 32 bit machines.

What's worrying me is I'm not dead certain that this was 64 bit XP running
on the 64 bit machine, but I believe it was--otherwise it wouldn't have been
of significance.

Yes, it does run on Windows XP Professional x64, its one of the recommended
downloads on the x64 website:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/default.mspx - you will see it
under Safety and Security
Bill maybe it was Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition, not every application
that runs on either XP Pro x64 runs on Server 2003 x64. Or it could also
have been Windows XP 64 bit for the Itanium that it was trying install on.

Thanks--that's a good confirmation. The issues that came up here were
minor--a DEP violation on the update from 500 to 509. It happened on 32-bit
machines too.

Thank you guys!
