Does it get rid of all of your games when you install Vista?

I was wondering whether or not it will delete all of my old games from XP
when i install Vista,

But... any registry specific games might not work, as the registry is
overwritten with a new one. If a game doesn't work, repair or reinstall from
the Programs Control Panel applet.

I would disagree with the first replier, and say that YES, EVEN AN UPGRADE
can delete your programs.

Case in point - Macromedia Studio 8, Encarta 2006. Happened to me.

Only if the system detect that is incompatible, it worked fine for me on Halo
and others, the registry is copied to a "user registry", that is different
from the system registry.
