does IE6 support EMF files

I was able to open an EMF(enhanced windows metafile) on my XP machine
throuth the File|Open menu. I'm not sure if this feature is built-in or b/c
some add-ons I have installed.

I was not able to open teh EMF file on an win 2000 machine. I think it is
the latest IE6.

The question is, is EMF file supported in IE6? (just on XP? or it needs some
add-ons?)
