Does Asus make a motherboard without sound &

all the other junk I dont want? I want to build a good game system and use
my own sound card...video....and the like.
I want a good board, for a P4 that will support up-to the latest P4
speeds....does anyone know if they make one, If not, what would be the best
Asus board to get then ? I will be running mostly the game MOHAA,
Tribes 2, and the performance killer Nascar 2003.

you dont have to use onboard sound on any board, disable settings usually
in bios or jumpers

And also, on-board sound is not like it used to be. On a recent build, I use
the onboard Soundmax instead of my Hercules GTXP with a very good 5.1
speaker system and it is just as good. Games I use in common are Nascar 2003
and MOHAA with very good results. This is on a P4PE and newer boards are
even better.

I actually took out the Audigy 2 on my system to go with the Soundstorm on
my A7N8X Dlx.....just for ease of use it kills the Audigy....

who makes the soundstorm ? it is not kin to storm surgemade by i/o magic is
it....because that board is a nighmare ! to say the least.

NVidia, it works and sounds great.
