Does anyone use 2 anti-virus programs (with just 1 in resident memory?)

Just wondering how many people have say, Avast loading in start-up with the
Norton AV program or McAfee on the hard drive as a 2nd option. How hard is
it to load those programs and make sure they don't continuously add an exe
to the start up mode? I know McAfee loads itself all over the place with
Symantec a close second. I would like to use them as a 2nd option, but my
feeling is that every time I start the program, I would have to search
around to get it out of start up using MSConfig and Regseeker.

I use eTrust as resident with ClamAV,Sysclean and eScan as backup. I have
used avast with AVG as a backup before.

How did you decide on eTrust rather than Avast?

eTrust suite(AV,Firewall,Spam Filter,Ad Blocker) is provided free from my
ISP(RoadRunner)

I use NOD32 which loads at startup and Avast as an on demand scanner
and to scan outgoing E-Mail. No problems with unwanted additions to the
startup folder, conflicts, etc.

Good luick, jimbo

I noticed that my provider gives it away for free, too. How does e-trust
compare to Avast? Anyone?
