Does anyone know how to make decals?

I want to make decals, the kind of decals that model airplane makers
use. I need batches of identical labels and too small to use simple
silk screening as I understand it.

I can do the graphics work in photoshop.

Any suggestions ?

You can make t-shirt transfers using specialty paper on your inkjet, and I
believe that some transfers can be applied using a heat source on irregular
surfaces (such as coffee mugs). It would be a matter of getting that paper
from the right supplier.

Anything you can print on this paper will be a decal. the only problem is
if you need to print white. For that you will need an Alps printer.
