Open Add/Remove prorams in Control Panel
Selet Microsot Office and cick on "Change"
From there you can uninstall "Office Assistant"

Basically you start Add/Remove Programs and select the Change button
for Microsoft Office. Follow the prompting for Add/Remove Features.
