does anyone know how to burn the iso image file?

Hi,
The ISO file that I got is a bootable file. But then when I burn it into
the cd, it just leave as an iso image, and I couldn't boot it from the
cd-rom. Does anyone know how to burn the iso image? Thx.

you do not just burn the file to cd

there should be some option in your cd-burning software
to create cd from iso image
 
Usually you only need to double-click on the file and your burner program
will ask if you wish to burn the image to a disc.
 
Associate .iso file extension with your burning software.
Double-click the .iso file.
