Does anyone know anything about NewsPlex

It is a free ware progy that is a multiplexer and much more.
I have been using it for the last two weeks and have much to
learn about it still.

Anyone else using it here that can offer some configuration tips?

In particular - setting up a proxy in the server.ini file.

I understand how HTTP proxies work but know nothing about NNTP.

Also, setting the keep alive timer so it does not close connections
to my servers so quickly - makes it a pain because it closes ALL servers
and takes time to respond to a post request from my news reader.

If anybody is interested I will post the links, it was not easy to find.

I use Newsplex every day, but unfortunately I don't use either of the
features you mentioned.

General advice: you should definitely visit

and read the Unofficial Newsplex FAQ, which complements the program's
own help file. That site also includes a link to the Newsplex web
group on Yahoo, which is the best place to ask questions about
Newsplex (or search the existing answers) and download sample config
files and add-on utilities. It's free to join the group and very
helpful.
