Exchange 2000 and Outlook 2002..

I have 6 exchange servers; 5 in NY (NY has the master server; not that this
is relevant) and 1 in LA (only a Member server). I have a CEO working out of
the LA office with her Exchange mailbox in the NY server (only a member
server); we have an exchange server in LA as well. Is thier a way to
synchronize her mailbox between a NY server and the LA server; so that when
she is in LA she will connect to the LA server and vice versa.

Currently her connection to the exchange via Outlook is very slow. When
composing e-mails; reading e-mails; opening attachments. All when she is in
the LA office. When in NY all runs smoothly. We have a dedicated t-1 line
between offices. Of couse all NY users connect to NY exchange and LA users
to LA exchange; without problems. Only the CEO who travels between offices
gets this problem... Lucky me!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

There's no syncing between mailboxes possible. Have her use an OST file in
Outlook for offline use - work offline by default - and set Outlook to sync
regularly in the background. This often helps.

Your case is just like our case , and we had to built up a terminal server
for the users whom offen goes around offices !
They are so happy now as the speed of using outlook are just like there
local site !

I too had the same issue and upgrdaed the Outlook to Outlook 2003 to use
local caching. It is running perfectly. Also you can use Outlook Web Acess
through the browser (not the best optionof course).
good luck
