Good they officially release a component!!
Probably the same the one that will be include in the Windows XP
Embedded Service Pack 2 Feature Pack 2007 ?
Did it works with the evaluation version of XPE ?
Because I get this error
"A new platform object needs to be installed before this update can be
installed. Please download the latest platform update from
<http://www.microsoft.com/embedded> and install it before attempting to
install this QFE.
Setup cannot continue."
Tried to find the "platform update", but didnt find anything...

Are you trying to install this on an XPe-SP1 environment? If so, this
component will only work with XPe-SP2. The SP2 upgrade is also available
for download, or is available from your distributor.
