For inter-site replication, you can also do this manualy using ADSIEdit.
Select configuration Container --> Sites and locate the site of the DC to
which you want to transfer ISTG role to. Select NTDS Site Settings class and
go into properties. The attribute interSiteTopologyGenerator.
Each DC in a site creates its intrasite topology and this is done by KCC on
each DC.

Are you sure corp.company.com is an AD site object name? Looks rather like a
domain name to me :)

Regds,

Some how the ISTG was located in a very poor IP link site, and it was
causing slow conectivity to that office. Once I removed it, the traffice
dropped for like half.

From one DC to another DC?

Thank you,

Robert

What's your motivation for wishing to change the ISTG role holder?
