Does an update *really* work for an limited user accout

Buenas noches:

Tried this today, to update the database while logged in as limited
user. No problem - which quite surprised me. Did the errors stay away,
because there actually were no updates available? Or how else could a
limited user else be able to update a software?

Thanks to everybody who can enlighten me! :)

Roland,

The update errors you refer to are most likely being caused by the
amount of traffic the servers are experiencing at the present time.
Hang in there and the updates will arrive.

Steve, you might have misread my message (I am not quite sure about
formulating it correctly in English.). There were _no_ errors while
updating - and that exactly was, what surprised me! Because I assume,
updates will be stored in the program directory, which is in
%program files%. Limited users have no right to write therein, so how
could the software do it?
