When you enter date into a form, am I right in thinking that access wil
auto save it directly to the database without having to click "Save
and if not how can I put a "Save button" on my form?

Thanks

If you have bound controls on the form then Access will save the record
automatically. Try one or two as a test and see what happens.

Hi,

My name is Amy Vargo. Thank you for using the Microsoft Access Newsgroups.

Depending on how the form is designed, if you enter data for a record, then
move to the next, the data will be commited and saved. You can add a Save
button to make the form more user-friendly. To do so, you can create a
command button using the wizard.

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
