Documents won't print

I recently purchased Window XP for home and cannot print
documents from any Windows program. The paper goes
through the motions of being fd into the printer and
coming out the other side, but it comes out blank
everytime! I have an hp deskjet 3820 and I have no
problem printing projects from other software such as
Picture-it and Hallmark Scrapbook. (I promise I already
checked my ink levels!) Has anyone else experienced a
simiar problem? Better yet- do any of you have any idea
how to fix it? thanks for your help

Was this an upgrade from an earlier operating system... and was the printer
connected during the upgrade... if so follow the instructions for a full
uninstall and reinstall from:
