I just installed Vista Service Pack 1 over Windows XP and now I cannot access
certain folders.
Application Data (All users)
Desktop
Documents
Favorites
Start Menu
I get the following "Location is not available"
Access denied
I tried to allow sharing, permission, but I acn't see them.
Why?

More than you wanted to know at
930128- Error message when you try to access the My Documents, My Music, My
Pictures, etc in Windows Vista
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930128

Basically, these are junction point which are there so that older programs
can find those folders. If you start at C:\Users\your account name, hit F3
for search, use Advanced Search (Include non-indexed, hidden and system
files) you will find the actual folders.

Example:
C:\Users\accountname\Favorites
C:\Users\accountname\Documents
C:\Users\accountname\AppData

More:
I can't find Start Menu. I access it by right-clicking the Start button.

Desktop is at C:\Users\username\Desktop

History and Temporary Internet Files are at
Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
