When I go into my "documents" folder it opens fine, then goes to the little
green status bar on the top which I can only guess is like a refresher..
fills in green..
anyway...after this, the CPU light is lit green indefinately and the
computer slows down so much the computer is rendered useless and I can't even
open Task Manager to End Process. I have to use the power button and restart.
When I DO restart, I can have ZERO problems all day long and the computer
works great... but the SECOND I open the "documents" folder, I'm in for a few
minutes of restart because that is the only way I can stop it from thinking.
it ONLY happens with the "Documents" folder, and it does not matter what I
have open, if anything at all.
I have a virus scanner and all of that stuff, and it runs every day and has
not found anything (the program updates itself too, so it's not like it's a
virus scanner looking for things that only existed a year ago, etc..)
Like I say...it's only this folder.
Any ideas?
