Hi,

is there any API-documentation (fields and methods in
classes) for C# and the .Net Compact Framework?

The MSDN documentation shipped with VS.NET will show which
classes/methods/properties etc are supported on the Compact Framework.
Another reference you may find useful is this one by JW Hedgehog and

Also Microsoft have a downloadable help file which compares the Compact

Just to add to what Peter said, you can also use the Object Browser to look
at classes, methods, etc. from referenced assemblies:
View -> Object Browser (inside VS.Net 2003)
