I need to create a transmittal template and want to be able to do to things
1. want to select a drop down form field which has a recipients name....and allows me to add new recipients
2. I want to link that name to an adress field

it's probably very simple, but I'm pulling my hair out trying to find the procedure

It's not simple at all. It requires macro coding

1. formfield dropdowns don't support the user adding to the list. You do realize these are
limited to 25 entries, max?

2. It's not clear what you mean by (2)

Chances are, your best bet will be a UserForm for this part of your document.
