Document Template Prompts to Save

In using some templates I've developed, they have just started asking if I
want to save the template each time I use a document or each time I save it.
Word didn't used to do that, and it's annoying. I know it must come from my
making a change to the some text in the template or a style, but how can I
stop it from asking me if I want to save the template? Plus, I don't want
OTHERS in the company to change the templates.
