Word 2007 - What is:
Document Inspector-Custom XML data-What is this?

What does it do? Am I going to have problems using this?

Custom XML data is data added to the document by software other than MS Office. Sharepoint for example adds Custom XML.

If you want to share your document, removing Custom XML is probably a good id
