I want to post a word document to be viewed by members of a yahoo group -
but I do not want the document to be changed / edited etc - I guess I want
them to see it as an image/ graphic maybe, so that when people read the
document as a graphic they are unable to edit the docuemnt.

Is that the correct appraoch?

should it be a PDF? or how ?
Thanks Mike

Hi Mike

If people can see your document then, one way or another, they can copy or
edit it. Failing all else, they could type it out again. So there's no 100%
secure way of presenting information.

The best way for your situation might be to save as a PDF file. You can't do
that from within Word. You'll need Adobe Acrobat or one of the many plain
vanilla applications to turn your Word document into a PDF. Or, use Adobe's
on-line service at
https://createpdf.adobe.com/index.pl/2399039956.57029?BP=IE.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Shauna - I thought that would be the case- hoping for something out
of left field.

All the best - thanks for the support
