Docucolor 2060 Color Problems

When we send Quark and InDesign files directly to our Docucolor 2060's
RIP, the color comes out fine. When we send a pdf, the color is bad.

There are times that we need to use pdfs, particularly for variable
data. Our software for variable data, PrintShop Mail, works only with
pdfs as we understand it.

So I either need to fix the problem with printing pdfs on the Docucolor
(preferred) or get something to replace PrintShop Mail that will work
directly with Quark or InDesign.

Suggestions?
 
What version of Quark are you using and what color spaces are selected
for the Docuprint???
 
Quark 6.5 and Quark 7.0
My Xerox operator doesn't know what you mean by "what color spaces are
selected for the Docuprint?"
