Could anyone give me some basic information on this subject - I would be very
grateful:
I was asked for help with Frontpage 2003 - the guy needed to import a lot of
Word-documents to a Frontpage site. I had no problems doing this, using
"import file". But then it turned out that the documents still had to be
edited. So I clicked one of the doc-files in the folder list and it opened in
Word. But after him editing the text, it turned out that the changes couldn't
be saved. How come?
I told him to forget about the files that were imported to Frontpage and to
edit the original files first before importing them to Frontpage. I suspected
they couldn't be edited anymore after importing them. Is that so?
If I told him to copypaste all documents to new blank html-pages, they could
be edited in Frontpage, of course. But he wants these documents to open in
such way that they can be saved as Word-documents by others who read them.
This seems to be a stupid question, it's quite embarassing... but thanks a
lot for any answers!
