Does anyone know how I can force MS Wordviewer 97/2000 to load a nominated
file at startup?

I am using it thru the CD frontend program CDAuto 3.0
By setting the command in the CDAuto ini file to
Command:path+\wordview.exe
I can load Wordviewer but it then prompts me for a file to load.

If I set the command to
Command:path+\wordview\filename.doc
then nothing at all loads.
I have CDAuto, Wordviewer and the .doc file I want to load all in the same
directory (or Folder)
Any help would be very much appreciated.
TIA
Leo

Just a guess Leo, but how about something like
Command:path+\wordview.exe filename.doc or
Command:path+\wordview.exe "filename.doc" or
Command:path+\wordview.exe /o filename.doc

Hi again Nadeem,
Yes I've been trying a few variations like that. If I find one that works
I'll come back to you.
I might try making Viewer the default prog to open doc files and if that
works, then after copying
to CD, change it back. I have got MS Viewer to work from a CD so maybe that
would work??
