When I setup a reccuring appointment for Tuesday, it displays accross the top
of every day of the week, Monday through Friday. How do I get it to only
display on Tuesday?

Check your recurrance pattern.

Because it is appearing at the top of your calendar it sounds like you have
set a recurring *All Day Event* with a start date and a different end date.
If this is the case (?) - you can open the Event and uncheck the "All Day"
box which will make it an Appointment. If you wanted an all day event, just
not one continuing through several days, you need to open the Event and
change the end date to the same day, then set you recurrence end time.
Sounds to me more like you just wanted an appointment for a specific period
of time on Tuesday so you will need to change it to an appointment.
