Actually, I did attach the email.dot in the "Templates and Add-ins" dialog
box.
I just assumed it would work...
Anyhow, I tried to attache normal.dot again, and that does the trick - no
pop-up anymore. Thanks for your hint.
But after closing Outlook, the next time I use it, it looks for the
email.dot again!
I even tried deleting the email.dot, but Outlook says that "Microsoft Word
is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word is unavailable, not
installed,
or is not the same version as Outlook. The Outlook e-mail editor will be
used
instead".
Does not seem to make much sense!

Hmmm... outlook doesn't use email.dot anymore, it uses normal.dot.
Do you have Acrobat installed? Other word addins that add toolbar
buttons?
They are usually the cause of this dialog.

I can't get rid of this dialog box, which pops-up any time I open a
message
(even without changing it!!) after configuring Outlook 2003 to use Word
2003.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
