Do you use TuneUp Utilities?

I used TuneUp Registry Editor to find all instances of the word 'Photoshop.'
It found 963 instances. I have already uninstalled Photoshop from my
system. Is there an easy way to get rid of these 963 line items? I believe
they may be the reason that, when I install Photoshop CS2, it doesn't work
properly (PS CS2 is not now installed).

Try:

www.ccleaner.com

Download the Slim version, or else you get a Yahoo Toolbar automatically
installed.
It has a pretty good Registry Cleanup and it's free.

I would not recommend any registry cleaner , Over the years I have see many
people later on having problems with their computers , Just use the stuff
windows has to offer...

It is so common to have problems "later on" when using Windoze XP, it's
pretty hard to narrow that down to a registry cleaner. Windoze XP suffers
from bitrot that over time slows down the speed and functionality of your
computer and forces many users to do fresh installs. That's just part of
the Windoze eXPerience.

What twaddle. Perhaps one would like to give an example of 'bitrot', in a
manner suitable to people not susceptible to shamanism.

Bullsh*t--there is no degradation over time on a properly maintained NT
system.
