Everyone is confronted with the task of making the correct decision when buying any product. Some do their own research and buy it, some read reviews and buy it, some take advise from trusted friends etc etc.

When you need to buy something what course you generally take?

I always listen to the advice and views given here on site

I don't trust ANY reviews from magazines that take advertising revenue from the suppliers of the product they're reviewing. Frankly, they're liars.

As for other reviews, it depends on the site.

I would trust Anandtech and Steve's Digicams, to name just two, but I'm wary of some others.

I read reviews whilst doing my own research and this sometimes helps to build a better picture of the product I'm buying but not always.
I source knowledge on a product from different sources and then make my own mind up, but it is never rushed and when I do finally commit to buy I know that I have bought the best product out there at the time for the best possible price..

I do my own research..
must admit i bought LG in their infancy and they have "roped me" in as a regular to their products... Great products :)
From my own research :)

I do my own research - but also look at what 'reviewers' have to say as well.
especially if i dont know what too look for.

Depends on the product really, I do sometimes go on reviews, but sometimes I do my own research and sometimes I ask on here as well for reviews on products.

I do my own then try before I buy:nod: If at all possible [Yes I am a cheeky bugger]:D It works though:thumb:

I tend to read as many reviews as i can about something and then try and find someone that has one so i can take a look at it

Advice from an old fella......never buy on impulse....read about the product, ask about it and never forget the bloke trying to sell ya is a t- leaf trying to part you from your wallet. Try and make an informed buy and always ask for a discount.....sometimes it works!!
Zzzzz
