When first putting in a laser printer toner cartridge, there is
typically a strip of plastic blocking the region where toner meets
drum. I plan to refill several old cartridges and use them for
"scratch" printing and keep a good cartridge for important
printing.
Is it going to be a problem to save a good cartridge without
the plastic covering?
