Computer is connected to broadband "modem" and configured for DHCP (I think
it's Time Warner). Worked here, doesn't work at owner's location. Only one
computer connected, yet cannot access Internet. May be ISP problem,
certainly, and we're checking on that. But the numbers just seemed not
quite right.
running ipconfig shows this:
IP address: 75.82.38.76
Subnet mask: 255.255.240.0
Gateway: 75.82.32.1
DHCP server: 10.255.192.1
DNS 75.85.229.110
From another Internet connected computer (mine) I can ping the gateway IP.
