Hello,

I've got a problem with my S-ATA RAID System (two Samsung SpinPoint SP1614C
drives) and I wonder if the cause could be that I didn't set any jumpers on
the drives (altough there was a jumper pin included with each drive).
So is this necessary at all? If so, how should I set the jumpers?

Thanks

Generally speaking, you do not need to set jumpers on SATA discs. In fact,
many of them don't come with any jumpers by default - the HDD device will be
automatically configured by the BIOS. Perhaps your problem is related to
something else?

What problems are you experiencing exactly with your current setup?
