Brett

I am fairly familiar with .pst files but I do not know if these files will
contain all of my various email account settings such as passwords and POP3
server names. Since I am purchasing a new computer, I want to be able to
import a .pst file into the newly installed Outlook.

Thanks Diane........where can I get these? Can i just copy them to the new
registry?

No. Accounts are stored in the registry.

You could, but unless everything is identical on both computers, you'll have
problems with the profile.
It's at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook
