Hi:

1. Was trying to figure out if there is a way of doing away with the 'file
size' column.
2. Can this be done selectively for files / drives?

3. TIA

On a per-folder basis, you can select or deselect columns for the detail view under the 'View' menu,
'Choose Details...' If explorer is set to remember each folders view settings, the selection should
stick for that folder.

If you want this to be your default choice, config a folder the way you like, then under 'Tools' ->
'Folder Options' -> 'View' tab, use the 'Apply to All Folders' button.

Are you asking about looking at this in either Windows Explorer or My
Computer, in Details view?

Go to View | Choose Details, and check or uncheck whatever you want.

Having done that, if you want that view to be permanent, go to Tools |
Folder Options, and, on the View tab, click "Apply to All Folders."
