do not print blank field in report

I created a Mailing Label report with the wizard and it automatically
suppresses any field if it is blank. I created a report, without a wizard,
creating a section that contains the address info. If company is null, I do
not want a blank line printed. I set can shrink to YES as I saw in other
postings. It did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to set the section's CanShrink property too.

Also, note that the space used by a shrunk control can not
be reclaimed if there is an unshrunk control in the same
horizontal band, including a label control.

I had fields to the right of my address block that had data and they were
causing the extra space.
