Do not have admin privledges

I am the only one on my computer and all of a sudden when
I try to install a program it tell me I can't . Log in to
an account that has admin priv.
Checked and I do but still can't

Is it only this one program? I've run into several badly-written apps that
expect the default built-in local administrator account - not another
account with admin rights.
