"Do not AutoArchive" field - where is it?

On the Archive dialog there is a check box labelled
Include items with "Do not AutoArchive" checked? I'd like
to use the "Do not AutoArchive" field on some e-mail items
so that I can exclude them from archiving, but I can't
find where this field is and can't find any documentation
either.

Anybody know how to get at this field?

Andy

OK - I managed to find the field in the Properties
dialogue of each e-mail message. So I can go through
setting this property one message at a time but this would
be very tedious as I have a lot of messages I want to
exclude from archiving - is there some way of setting this
property for all messages in a folder (and unsetting them
all at some time too)?

Thanks,

Andy

You can set it on folder level indeed;
r-click the folder-> Properties-> tab AutoArchive-> Do not AutoArchive this
folder

Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't get a "Do not AutoArchive this folder" option on
any tab in the folder properties dialogue box. I'm running
Outlook 2000 SR-1 ((9.0.0.4527) - is this option added in
some later release?

Sorry, can't check that for you as I'm not running Outlook 2000 anywhere. I
believe unchecking every option on the tab achieves the same but you'll have
to test that.
