DO MM SUPPORT USB STREAMING

Streaming is normally a method used to enable someone connecting to your
Server to watch and or hear a video or audio file on their PC without the
file inquestion being downloaded to their PC. If correctly streamed it is
fed to client PCs a little at a time and does not end up in their Temporary
Internet Files. Software used can vary, often Windows Media Encoder. You
would need a fast internet connection and your ISP would have to allow you
to host a Media Server.

However I'm not at all sure that is what you mean. What I think you mean is
it possible to CAPTURE video from a digital camcorder with a USB connection.
Generally the USB connection is for the capture of still images. Digital
capture prefers firewire. If your camcorder came with other capture
software it may like it. Windows Movie Maker definitely prefers firewire.

As Cari says, if you want quality, then go with firewire.
