Do I need XP 64?

My system died and I need to get a new MB. My current system is a 2.8GHz
P4, but I want to jump to an Intel Core 2 Duo. Since this is a 64 bit CPU,
do I need XP 64, or will my XP Pro SP2 (upgrade version) work?

I am going to get a new MB and RAM, and plan to reinstall XP and restore my
data from a backup. Can I even install "regular" XP Pro on a Duo?
 
Yes WinxP Pro with SP2 will work fine

Thanks, I had gotten some bad info from a coworker that I had to Get XP 64.
I have been doing some reading and in my case it may actually cause more
compatibility problems that anything so I am going to stick with what I
have.
