Do I need photo shop to use and or create things in frontpage?

Some of my friends use frontpage and they said they have to use photoshop for
some of the graphics they use. Do I have to download photoshop to use front
page?
 
No, you can use any graphics program you choose.

No. But if you want to use custom graphics you would need to have SOME
graphics editor to create such things.
 
Nobody has to use any specific program for images if they use FrontPage>
It is a good idea to have an imaging editing program ... especially if you
are going to have photographs or your site or if you want to make some
graphics. Why not look into Photoshop Elements 3 ($500 less than Photoshop),
Paint Shop Pro or Ulead's PhotoImpact. This article might help:

You need an image editor to create images (not necessarily Photoshop).
You can't download Photoshop (except maybe a trial version for 30 days) -
you have to buy it.
 
Okay, listen carefully to what your friends said. What is FrontPage for? Web
sites and web pages. What do your friends say they have to use Photoshop
for? Graphics. Therefore, do you need Photoshop to use FrontPage?

Now, web sites can have graphics in them. Do you need Photoshop for
graphics? Not necessarily. For example, clipart is ready-made. You need
Photoshop to MODIFY graphics, and to create new ones.
