do I need drive or upgrade of softward

I'm ready to burn my movie to CD but when I try to get Sonic Record Now to
burn it, it says no drive detected. Is this a software issue where I need to
upgrade Record Now or buy some other software like Nero 6 or do I need to add
some piece of hardware? I currently have a CD drive and a DVD drive. Both
of them work well at play backs.

Do you actually have a burner? Have
you burned discs before?

If not...you need a CD-RW drive or a
DVD+/-RW drive.
