Do I need a domain controller on every network?

I have one domain spread over two networks:

Network #1: 192.168.0.*, Co-location facility [contains 6 machines]
Network #2: 192.168.1.*, my apartment [contains 2 machines]

There is a T1 local loop connecting the two networks. They can route
traffic back and forth just fine. Network #1 contains two domain
controllers. My question is: Will network #2 need its own domain controller,
or is it sufficient just to point the DNS of the Network2 servers to the DCs
on Network1?

Hello,

you may find logging into the domain a bit slow since you have to go
through the T1 line to authenticate, as well as any AD management.

It will work, just slower than having a local DC and GC.
