Ok I want to change the heading 1 style

Do I have to go on to each individual page and format for
each page? can't I format it once and it will work for all
pages? or is that an external style sheet?

style; modify the tag ie' h1 change the font; then apply it

?

Thanks

To do all pages would require an external style sheet.
However, you could do a global find and replace
and change it in all pages.
Open a page, go to html view, highlight "exactly"
what you want to change, click Edit > Replace
and what you've highlighted will show in the top bar.
Type your new style "exactly" as you want it
in the bottom bar, and then
under Find where, check "All pages," then
check the "Find in html" box and click Replace all.

you would link an external sheet to all pages.
there is an item under the format tag likes "style sheet linker" that will
give you the option to link the sheet to all your pages.

If you are using FP 2000, it won't do a global replace. It will list all the
files that have the original text, and you will have to click twice on each
one to do the replace. That's okay if you don't have a lot of pages, but if
you do, it would be more practical to use replacement software like iCarte
Lighting, which is available free. I don't remember the name of the site,
but you could do a search. It works fine.

discussion forum will they apply to the articles?

I know if I apply a theme to the post page and modify the
styles it will work
