Do I have to call DrvUpgradePrinter after AddPrinterDriver?

If I use the windows api to AddPrinterDriver do i have to upgrade all
printers in the system by calling DrvUpgradePrinter on them or does the
spooler take care of this for me under the covers?

the other drivers which use the same core driver, unidrv or pscript5, will
get upgraded by the spooler.
