do I have 2 C: drives? please help

I am an intermediate computer user, who is confused.
What is the difference between Local Disk C: and Local
Hardrive C:? I did a SEARCH and looked in MyComputer: and

Local Harddrives (C:)
3 1/2 Floppy (A):
Local Disk (C:)
Compact Disc (D:)

all came up WHY? and is this why I cannot find some
documents at times? not networked anymore, Microsoft 2000,
anything else needed? now how can I fix so all my
documents all save to the same Local Disk...THANKS FOR ANY
HELP!!!

"Local Harddrives" is a group composed of all hard drives on your system.
Since you have only one, the group has only one member. "Local Disk (C:)"
refers to the drive itself. Searching either will yield the same result.
If you had multiple drives or partitions, Search mught show you something
like this:

Local Harddrives (C:;D:;E:)
3 1/2 Floppy (A):
Local Disk (C:)
W2K System (D:)
Data Store (E:)
 
Local disc C doesn't mean that it has to be a Hard Drive.

It could be Removable, fixed disc...

Why not use: File Save As, and then you could?
