Do embedded custom cmdbutton icons cause bloat

Hi,

I use custom icon bmps embedded into my A2000 form cmdbuttons.

Will this practice cause unneccesary bloat ? Should I just link to the bmps
and supply them with the app when distributing ?

Bitmaps will add approximately their own size to the database. Since file
size on a Windows XP computer is in 4K segments, smaller bitmaps add very
little.

If you have 100 20K button images, it will add approximately 2 MB to the
database size. Hardly worth the effort of maintaining the links.
