I am writing a query that has 156 columns - 150 are numerical calculations, 6
are simply data fields. When I run the query Access stops responding adn I
have to edn the task to get out. When I cut it down to 114 columns - 6 data
and 108 calculated it works with a slight delay.
Processor speed / memory issue? Or is Accecss limited in how many calculated
fields it can have in one query?

Help + Index + Specifications + Access Specifications + Query

255 Fields maximum per query. Dont know why its taking so long to process,
you are within the limits of the columns (fields).

I'd like to venture a guess that its a processing.memory issue. Are you
running any other resource hog applications at the same time as running this
query?
